Analytical Exposition Text - "Does Drinking Coffee Bad for Health?"

Coffee is a pleasant and wonderful drink that jolts up your spirit and prevent us from getting sleepy. However, there are lots of assumption on coffee consumption with more harm than benefits. Well, that is not entirely true. Researchers at the University of Southampton and Universiy of Edinburgh said that coffee consumption was more often associated with benefit than harm.

Drinking coffee is associated with lower risks of developing several diseases. Some of those are serious diseases like, type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome, renal stones, several types of cancer, parkinson's disease, depression, and alzheimer's disease. It also have some big effects like lowering the risk of liver cancer and other liver diseases.

Aside from the benefits of lowering the risk of diseases, drinking coffee keep us stay focused. According to April 2018 Study published in the Journal of Psychopharmacology found that when coffee drinkers consumed a cup of javanese coffee before a group discussion, they stay focused and felt better about themselves also other people in the group. Even though they say that the research did not include tasks such as problem solving or individual works. Also, a 2015 survey stated that 71% city dwellers in the US agree that coffee is integral to a successful meeting.

However, on the other side, drinking extra cups of coffee were not harmful, but the benefits were less pronounced. The ideal intake for coffee consumption is about two to three cups a day. Although, considering the exact quantity of the caffeine itself, it is saver to just consume a cup a day.

Too much drinking coffee increase symptoms of anxiety, boost heart rate, and make us irritable which makes it hard to focus. Which is why it is important to keep tracking our caffeine comsuption daily. Too many consuming it cause the opposite effect.

That being said, drinking coffee on empty stomach takes quite a toll on your digestive systems. It ramps up your production of stomach acid. Eating food prevent the extra acid eating our insides. It also gives jitters, shakes, and mood changes.

Too much coffee consumption and consuming it so early in the morning is not good for our body, since our cortisol levels reach its highest in the morning. Rather, go for it in mid-morning until afternoon, when our cortisol levels gets lower. That way, there are way much more benefits taken.
