School Event or Activity
Assalamualaikum, Hello everyone! I'm going to explain about one of the school activity that has been held recently.
Student Basic Leadership Training is an obligatory activity that is held by 3 Senior High School. Everyone from grade X must participate and follow the activity for 3 days, otherwise, we have to partake the activity next year, along with the underclassmen. The activity was held on 21 until 23 September 2017 in Pussenif, which is located in Supratman Street.
I arrived at Pussenif at 06.15. All the students gathered at the field. Shortly after that we were divided into groups. I was in class F. On the first day, we held the opening ceremony at the field and then we entered a room. We were given some materials about what the military do. In the afternoon, we have lunch, but, it was not a pleasant one, we have to eat very quickly and during that time, my legs was really hurt, to the point that I can't stand. There are not much of outdoor activity during the first day. Mostly, we were given materials about leadership, nationality, etc. We went to bed about 9 o'clock but then we were awakened on 12 o'clock for some kind of simulation. We were told to put our training gears, some of us did not get the information correctly, and because of that some uf us were punished. After that we pray tahajud in the mosque, i feel so sleepy and try very hard to keep myself awake during the prayer. And then, were told to go back to sleep until 4am.
On the second day, first, we pray in the mosque and then exercise in the field. I didn't do the exercise because i was not feeling well. After we put our training gear and have breakfast, we trained and learn about some kind of line on march or PBB. In the evening we went to Taman Makam Pahlawan in Cikutra, we went there on foot. In Taman Makam Pahlawan, we conduct ''Caraka Malam". It is walking through the cemetary. We were grouped into three people for Caraka Malam. At first, it was very scary and frightening. We went back to Pussenif around midnight and straightly went to bed.
On the last day, we had some kind of outbond or games. The games were very interesting, for example throwing an axe, walking or cross a two-roped bridge, and climbing with a rope. After that we watched the historical movie of the coup d'etat back on 30 September 1965. The movie was about 2 hours long. After that, we held the closing ceremony and the activity was officially ended.
